Our room
On our visit we stayed in an upper floor cabin. Everything in our suite reflected an atmosphere of elegance and good taste.
The window with the views is spectacular, and the hot water shower was a real luxury and relaxation. And if we preferred outside we had a pool, and a jacuzzi or an elegant upper deck for sunbathing.
We had direct access to the ship's pool, which was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by the sea, an unforgettable experience full of charm.
Our experience with our room was excellent.
Is it worth diving in the Red Sea?
We have to be honest, after diving in many of the best places in the world to dive, we thought that the Red Sea was not going to be a great discovery, and how wrong we were!
It is definitely worth it. The Red Sea is a diver's paradise. With incredible biodiversity and a climate that allows diving practically all year round, it is a must-see destination. The crystal clear waters reveal vibrant coral reefs, unique fish species and for us the highlight was the thrilling shark encounters.
Introduction to the Southern Route Compared to the Northern Route
While the Northern Red Sea Route is famous for its iconic shipwrecks, such as the SS Thistlegorm and Abu Nuhas, the Southern Route is distinguished by its unspoiled nature and the possibility of seeing pelagic species such as hammerhead sharks and oceanic whitetip sharks.
The Southern Route is less crowded and features some of the most remote dive sites, such as Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone reefs, where divers can enjoy unique underwater scenery and abundant marine life.
This Red Sea Shark Route on a liveaboard was the one we did and definitely recommend!
The Itinerary, Southern Red Sea Route: Daedalus, Elphinstone and Brothers Islands
Daedalus Reef: Hammerhead Sharks and Vibrant Coral
Daedalus Reef is an impressive isolated reef famous for its wild environment. During our dive, we explored its vertical walls full of hard and soft corals in excellent condition. The currents of this site attract pelagic species, and one of the most exciting points was encountering a pair of bold silky sharks, a hammerhead shark and an oceanic manta ray, an unforgettable sight.
The Best of Daedalus: The sensation of being surrounded by sharks in such a remote and wild space, along with the rich variety of corals.
Elphinstone Reef: Adrenaline and Ocean Sharks
Elphinstone Reef is a long, narrow reef that attracts divers with its coral walls and strong currents. Here, we swim among coral fans and encounter oceanic whitetip sharks. Although the currents can be challenging, the opportunity to see these sharks in action in their natural habitat made every dive here an adrenaline-filled experience.
Elphinstone Highlights: Close proximity to oceanic white tip sharks and vibrant coral walls.
Brothers Islands: Intensity and Wildlife
The Brothers Islands, Big Brother and Little Brother, offer some of the most challenging and rewarding diving in the Red Sea. Surrounded by vibrant coral walls, these islands provide a mix of strong currents, large predators and a variety of marine life. We dive alongside gray sharks, white tips and even manta rays, in an environment where biodiversity flourishes like no other.
Best of Brothers: Close encounters with sharks and the opportunity to see manta rays in one of the most remote and wildest areas of the Red Sea.

Comfortable and Equipped Spaces for Divers
Right off the bat, I was impressed with how well the All Star Scuba Scene accommodates divers' needs. The dive area has outdoor showers, freshwater hoses and ample room for cameras. Between dives, it was very comfortable to rinse off equipment and relax knowing that everything is designed with details in mind.
Cabins with Ocean View and Maximum Comfort
The cabins are not only comfortable, but offer sea views and individual air conditioning. Every time I came back from a dive, it was a luxury to relax watching the horizon from my cabin. It's perfect for feeling at ease and privacy while relaxing.
Relaxation Areas and Sundecks for Enjoyment
The upper sundeck is an ideal space to unwind and enjoy the views of the Red Sea. Between dives, I used to relax in the comfortable chairs or in the Jacuzzi, enjoying the breeze and a drink at the bar - a real paradise to relax in between underwater adventures!
A unique and unforgettable experience
Each dive in the Red Sea has been a real journey into another world, full of discoveries. As with our expedition to Arabia, we have not been disappointed.
A moment we will always remember was the dive at Daedalus Reef. As we floated in front of that immense coral wall descending towards the depth, we were overcome by a feeling of smallness and belonging at the same time. The silence was overwhelming, broken only by the sound of our bubbles, and the landscape before us was like an infinite canvas, full of life and color. Being there made us feel thatthe Red Sea has a unique, almost mysticalenergy that connects you with the very essence of nature.
At Elphinstone, where whitetip sharks glided majestically around us, we felt a mixture of awe and respect. The elegance with which they moved was a lesson in harmony; they taught us to see the ocean not just as a place to explore, but as a sanctuary where each being has its role in the delicate balance of life.
Every night on board, as we watched the sun disappear over the horizon while the boat rocked gently, we felt that the Red Sea had left a deep impression on us. It was not just a diving trip, but an adventure that connected us with nature and taught us to appreciate the beauty of the underwater world. The Red Sea Shark Route on a liveaboard was an experience that we will always carry in our hearts.
