It is the kind of base that lets you spend the day exploring and come back to a quiet hotel.
Rooms. The rooms at Hotel Illa Cozumel are elegantly designed with a clear eye for detail. Modern amenities, comfortable beds, well-thought-out bathrooms, and a level of finish that feels well above the average for the island. Scuba diving is the obvious one given the quality of the reefs around the island, but the staff at Illa Cozumel Hotel can also point you to snorkel sites, ATV routes through the inland jungle and the typical food spots that locals actually use.
