About
David García is a traveler and storyteller.
He spends the year chasing the best destinations on the planet — from the southern atolls of the Maldives to the wonders of the Mexican Caribbean — to bring back honest, first-hand guides that help others plan trips worth taking.
He is an acomplished photographer because one day he decided that if he was lucky enough to experience and photograph how amazing the world is, it would be a waste not to share it. The Explore TV was born in 2022 just for that — a place where we want to feature amazing imagery and underloved places from all over the world.
Diving is one of his passions, he is a certified advanced scuba diver and I have dived all over the world: from the calmest waters of Raja Ampat to the amazing underwater volcanoes of Hawaii.
My story
It started with a ticket to China and a group of friends. After my first big trip I came home with two convictions: that the best stories happen abroad (and even better abroad & underwater), and that too many travel guides are written by people who never actually went.
For several years, worked in the corporate world working for brands as Marriot, Mastercard or Microsoft. Now, the truth is that for him life is better editing and writing for The Explore TV.
Since then, I have spent more and more time hitting the road, and under the sea. I am always lucky to travel with my cameras, I do love photography.
Originally from Málaga, he has also lived in the US for 4 years and Rio de Janeiro for one year before packing his bags and establishing base in Madrid while hitting the road as a digital nomad in every ocasion he has.
